Whether it’s easy pistes, daring to do a run on the legendary ‘Streif’ or the Boarders Paradise on the Kitzbüheler Horn – there is the perfect piste for everyone!

168 kilometres of perfectly prepared pistes and marked ski routes of all levels of difficulty, a snowboarding fun park which is action-packed and snow-making facilities covering 84 kilometres of pistes, guarantee unlimited ski pleasure. And for a snack stop you are guaranteed to find the right little spot in one of over 50 mountain inns.

56 modern cable cars and lifts of Bergbahn AG take you to the top quickly and comfortably. Among them the 3S Bahn, which ‘flies’, so to speak, above the Saukasergraben valley. So you are able to take off where you want, the free ski buses stop at all the valley stations. Free use of all the practice lifts in the valley is something which is also unique to Austria.

A gondola which is one of a kind: with the ‘3S’ gondola Kitzbühel breaks all superlatives. The particular feature of the new gondola is, in addition to the gigantic ground clearance of up to 400 metres above the Saukasergraben, its enormous span of around 2500 metres between each supporting tower.

For the construction of the gondola, irrespective of the two station buildings, only one supporting tower was needed for the total length - around 3.7 kilometres. The 3S has been connecting the two ski areas of Kitzbühel/Pengelstein and Jochberg/Resterhöhe since Winter 2004/05 and is one of the most modern ski lifts in the world.

Our hotel is only a few footsteps away from the Hahnenkamm mountain railway, the ski school with children’s ski slopes and the Streifalm chairlift. We have a ski room with a ski shoe dryer available.

There is also a cross-country ski run very close to the hotel.
